This morning Lily and I went to the doctor. Now that she can roll she rolled onto her stomach up on the examination table and had fun looking at the ruler glued to the back of the table (to measure lenghths of babies). It was very cute. She was smiling and kicking her legs and trying to grab the numbers. Anyway, the doctor said everything is good, and Jeremy and I are doing well as parents. Her height is 26 inches. Her weight is 14 lbs 13.5 ounces and her head circumference is 43 cm. So she is 60th percentile for height, 25 percentile for weight and 55 percentile for head size. She's finally growing into her head! And don't worry about the 25th percentile for weight, Dr. says that's okay and expected because she's more active than she used to be. And that is the truth! She's going to be crawling around messing with the cats in no time!
Yesterday she rolled over onto her stomach and back again three times. As is everything she does, it was totally adorable. She plants her face into the floor and sticks her butt up into the air and rolls over. I didn't get it on film, but I tried. Of course, when I try to get the camera out she stops doing what she had been doing... but I did get some adorable film of her on her stomach kicking her legs and playing with various toys. I will try to post some. I ran out of time over the Mother's day weekend. We'll see how it goes this weekend.
